The Academy for Science Policy Implementation and Research (ASPIRE), located at the Administrative Staff College, is intended to create a new milieu on the S&T policy canvas of the country.
ASPIRE is a proactive initiative with the longitudinal perspective of achieving science-enabled and technology-led sustainable well being of the society and development of the economy. It brings in the much-needed handshake between socio-economic goals and, S&T policy development and implementation strategies.

The initiative was kick-started as a Programme of DST at ASCI, to begin with. Simultaneously, efforts are being made to develop the initiative into a Centre of Excellence and/or as a full-fledged separate entity in the form of an Academy, viz. ASPIRE, in the next 2 years after taking necessary approvals.
